Lemon Blueberry French Toast

Ingredients:
  • 1 loaf French Bread
  • 6 eggs
  • 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup frozen blueberries
  • zest of one lemon
Lemon Glaze:
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 Tablespoon water
Directions:
  1. Use stale bread and cut into 1/2 inch cubes.
  2. In a large mixing bowl whisk together eggs, heavy cream, sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon.
  3. Pour over the bread and mix well.
  4. Allow to sit and absorb for at least 2 hours, or overnight in the fridge.
  5. Bake for 30 minutes.
  6. After baking, pour glaze over while warm.
