Ingredients:
- 1 loaf French Bread
- 6 eggs
- 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 cup frozen blueberries
- zest of one lemon
Lemon Glaze:
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- juice of 1 lemon
- 1 Tablespoon water
Directions:
- Use stale bread and cut into 1/2 inch cubes.
- In a large mixing bowl whisk together eggs, heavy cream, sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon.
- Pour over the bread and mix well.
- Allow to sit and absorb for at least 2 hours, or overnight in the fridge.
- Bake for 30 minutes.
- After baking, pour glaze over while warm.
